Stabilisation works complete

Over the past couple of months, work has been carried out on the tower section of the High Mill to make sure there will be no further collapse or deterioration of the structure. Loose stones have been removed and the facades repointed and strengthened by a steel brace – which might not be pretty but hopefully will do the job.

This work has been paid for through an ‘Ancient Monuments Grant’ from Historic Scotland and gives the Trust time to raise the money required to further advance the project.
